This makes them ideal for small businesses<\/a> and professionals who are seeking legal protection while also aiming for seamless operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n GST registration LLPs are not necessarily required. Partners shall be required, however, to register under GST if the LLP is registered. Reverse Charge Mechanism:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Considering the LLP has to pay tax under the reverse charge mechanism, it is required to register under GST in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 5. Casual Taxable Person:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n If the LLPs undertake goods\/services supply across taxable territories, <\/a>where they are not entitled to a fixed \u2018place of business\u2019, they must register as \u2018casual taxable persons\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 6. Non-Resident Taxable Person:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n If the LLPs are based out of India but supply goods and\/or services in India, they must register as \u2018non-resident taxable persons\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 7. Input Service Distributor (ISD):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n If LLPs distribute the GST credit that has been paid on services among their various branches bearing different GSTINs, they must register as ISDs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 8. Voluntary Registration:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n LLPs may voluntarily opt for GST registration even when they do not meet the criteria mentioned above.
